Eh, I’m pretty sick. I was fighting something off before I went off to Vegas but 3 nights of drinking, smoking and barely sleeping weakened me enough to let this damn cold take over. Boo hoo… woah is me.

I bailed from work kinda early and hit up the store and loaded up on some cold medicine. I got home and decided to combine me newly acquired drugs into a magic, cold-killing cocktail. Here it is:

The ingredients:

• cup of hot water
• 1 packet of Theraflu Cold & Cough
• 3 Ricola cough drops w/ echinacea
• 1 packet of Emergen-C
• juice from 1 fresh lemon
• 1 tab thing of Airborne

Stir and enjoy…

Errrr…. so, my eye’s screwed up… still

A few days before xmas my eye was bugging me. I took off my contacts for the night and it was all downhill from there. The eye got all swollen and red and it hurt really bad when any light was around. I patched it up so no light could get to it etc. It sucked!

Anyways, i laid off contacts as long as I could and things got better in a few days. So I started wearing my lenses again around the 27th or so. Now, last night the eye went back to being red and pretty damn swollen. Finally I hit up the eye doctor. The good news: no infection. The bad: i can’t wear contacts for 10 days!!!! This really blows since w/o contacts I’m 2 steps from blind. Glasses don’t cut it due to my as-bad-as-it-gets astigmatism (in both eyes).

Eh! For 10 days I’m gonna be pretty damn bored. I’ll try to build up the new bass. That shouldn’t be too stressful on the eyes. I’ll probably end up mowing thru the Masters of Horror box set as well .
